Baba Stiltz will release an album called Total on October 13th.
The 20-year-old producer is one of several under-the-radar artists to appear on Studio Barnhus, the label co-run by Axel Boman, Kornél Kovács and Petter Nordkvist. Hailing from Stockholm, he's one of the imprint's local contingent, and they've put out three Baba Stiltz 12-inches in the past year—Our Girls, Transit/Principles and Palats/Crypt—which veered between house, techno and acid. Studio Barnhus say Total comprises a mix of "psychedelic screw-pop, minimalistic acid and ambient."
