- Keith Rankin will interrogate internet culture on his new LP, due out in September.
Giant Claw's next full-length will arrive on September 30th.
The latest from prolific artist Keith Rankin, DARK WEB is largely inspired by the internet, with the label calling it an "exorcism of Rankin's own journey and development as a late-night student of art on the internet." The press release goes on to explain how the record is inspired by the bombardment of imagery and stimuli one experiences on the internet. Appropriately, the album is a tangle of ideas, mixing up house, trap, glitch, R&B, video game music and unintelligible vocal phrases. It was written and recorded almost exclusively through MIDI. DARK WEB will come through Orange Milk, the label Rankin co-founded, as well as Noumenal Loom. You can stream the LP's second track below.
