  • Blackest Ever Black will release the latest album from William Bennett's Cut Hands project on October 13th. Festival Of The Dead is Bennett's third full-length as Cut Hands, following 2011's Afro Noise I and 2012's Black Mamba. Kiran Sande's Blackest Ever Black label will issue the record on digital, CD and double-vinyl formats. The label says: "It is said that the gods of the dead demand you ritualistically commit to each intensely hot beat of the ceremonial drum. Now, here, is the music for their celebration of death, music to dance together with, to oblivion, a music both spectacular and ecstatic where, like never before, the spirits of santería and vaudou mix with raw electricity into burning diabolical polyrhythms." Get a taste of what to expect with the album's opening salvo, "The Claw," which is streaming below.
