The New York house kingpin will hop across Canada for two dates in September.
Tenaglia, of course, is a decades-long veteran of dance music best known for his syncopated tribal sound. Ever since announcing a retirement of sorts a few years ago, the New Yorker's touring schedule has calmed down a bit, which makes these dates all the more special—he only comes to Canada a few times a year. (His other Canadian gig in 2014 happened at Toronto's Digital Dreams festival).
First up, on the night of Saturday, September 13th (or rather, Sunday morning), he'll play Montreal afterhours spot Stereo, where he's the only act billed. A week later, on Friday the 19th, he'll headline the eighth birthday of Blueprint's Stereotype Fridays night with a three-hour set. That'll happen at Stereotype's usual home of Celebrities, and support for that one is still TBA.
