- Flatland will see release on double-vinyl, CD and digital formats in October.
Flatland, the debut album from Berlin-based producer Objekt, will see release on October 20th through PAN.
There's been plenty of excitement around everything Objekt has put his name to so far: starting out with a run of self-released 12-inches, he went on to appear on Hessle Audio (Cactus/Porcupine), Bleep, Power Vacuum and, most recently, Leisure System, for a split 12-inch with Dopplereffekt that carried the RA Recommends stamp. His style references techno, electro and dubstep, with each release packing ample amounts of bass weight.
Objekt's debut album has been snapped up by PAN chief Bill Kouligas. The 11 tunes on Flatland were written between 2012 and 2014. The label say the LP "imagines a world in which any scene can be seen from every angle at once." As is the norm for PAN, Flatland will be pressed onto heavyweight vinyl (there will also be CD and digital versions) with artwork from Kouligas.
