Glasslands in Brooklyn has announced its event calendar through mid-November, with appearances from Thug Entrancer, Michael Serafini and more.
The Williamsburg live music venue (one of the few remaining in the area) has announced a number of live electronic acts and DJ sets alongside its punk, hip-hop and indie programming. Highlights include a live audiovisual show from R&S newcomer Lone, featuring Konx-om-Pax on September 6th, plus an extended session with Chicago's Orchard Lounge duo on the 20th and a headlining DJ set from Phaeleh on the 27th, backed by Different Sleep and M!nt.
On Friday, October 3rd, the monthly Discovery party will celebrate its fifth anniversary with guests Michael Serafini—owner of Chicago's renowned Gramaphone record store and resident at Smart Bar—and Jason Kendig, of San Francisco's Honey Soundsystem. Groundislava, repping Shlohmo's WEDIDIT collective, will hit Glasslands on the 11th for his Frozen Throne LP release gig. Software Records' Thug Entrancer will play live on the 17th, with support from Photay, the newest member of Brooklyn's Astro Nautico family.
