The Brooklyn promoter will also host the likes of Pharmakon and Teengirl Fantasy this fall.
AdHocPresents has announced shows with Caribou, Dubbel Dutch, Pharmakon and more in New York this fall.
The Brooklyn-based promoters have scheduled a number of electronic acts this season alongside their punk, hardcore and experimental programming. First up is Reptilian Reprisal, a night of raw, abstract dance music featuring DJ Vague (the alter-ego of Night Slugs artist Helix), Max McFerren, Weird Magic and Tru Reptilians on Friday, September 19th at Palisades in Bushwick. AdHoc will return to Palisades the following night for a gig with Dubbel Dutch, Sugar Shane and Lil Jabba, who released his Gully EP on True Panther in August—plus a special secret guest from the UK.
Next is Zola Jesus, Martin Rev and Lee Bannon at Webster Hall on October 19th, followed by another Webster Hall gig with fellow Canadians Jessy Lanza and Caribou on November 12th. Then they've scheduled a release party at Bossa Nova Civic Club for Teengirl Fantasy's Thermal EP on November 20th. AdHoc will round out November with one more release event—this time for New York noise artist Pharmakon's new LP, Bestial Burden on November 22nd at Palisades; she'll be fresh off of her ambitious European tour with Swans.
