- The Italian producer will make his maiden voyage on 1080p in November.
OOBE will release Digitalisea on November 4th.
Italian artist Yari Malaspina—whose alias stands for Out Of Body Experience—first appeared on Opal Tapes back in 2013 with the trance-inflected abstract techno of SFCTR. For his second release, he's landed on another tape label, Vancouver's 1080p, which recently hosted the debut album from Boston producer Via App (along with over 15 other releases this year). The imprint calls Digitalisea "a more clearly defined and uniquely digitized approach to ambient electronica" and a "histrionic set of slow moves into Stargate-mining planetscapes and gaseous, computerized digi-psych."
