Shackleton, Model 500 and Mika Vainio will head to South Australia as part of next year's Festival Of Arts.
The three-day event falls under the umbrella of the Adelaide Festival Of Arts, with Unsound curating the bill. All three nights will be held at the Freemasons Hall on North Terrace in Adelaide's CBD. The first—Thursday, March 12th—sees performances from Lawrence English, Vatican Shadow, Container and Japanese psych-rock outfit Fushitsusha, who will be making their Adelaide debut.
There's a strong UK presence on Friday, March 13th, with Shackleton, Forest Swords and The Bug all confirmed. They'll be joined by Uwe Schmidt, AKA Atom™, who will perform with audio-visual collaborator Robin Fox. The final night features sets from Mika Vainio, Evian Christ, Hieroglyphic Being and Model 500, the Juan Atkins-fronted outfit that also features Mike Banks, DJ Skurge and Mark Taylor. The events run from 7:30 PM through 1 AM on Thursday and Saturday, with a 12:30 AM finish on Friday.
Unsound's flagship edition is currently taking place in Kraków, Poland.
