Time Warp US is searching for a new venue.
Taking place on November 28th and 29th in New York as the first American instalment of the long-running German techno festival, Time Warp had previously announced its location as the historic Kingsbridge Armory in The Bronx. But now, due to "unforeseen complications," they've been forced to move and are still in search of a new home. (The NY Daily News reports that the organizers "failed to acquire permits from the city needed to throw the rave-like party.")
Time Warp have set up an online "help desk" at [email protected] to address any questions about the situation. Check out the festival's full statement below.Unfortunately we have come across some unforeseen complications regarding The Kingsbridge Armory as our New York location. Although we were far into the approval process and had not experienced any issues, there’s always a risk when dealing with historical buildings. Local officials are working with us to advance our event at the best possible location.
