Bloc has started a record label, with the first EP dropping on February 9th.
2015 is set to be a milestone year for the UK promoter—in March they return to the festival circuit for the first time since 2012. A month or so before things kick off at Butlins, the label arm of the operation will release its debut EP, a two-tracker from London-based drummer and producer Jake Chudnow. Opener "Prelude To Shona" is an eight-minute ambient excursion, while "Shona" is built for early mornings on the dance floor. The EP will be released digitally and on vinyl. Listen to "Shona" below.
