- The cult bass music label will take Quest, LAS and Kursk on the road in February.
Innamind Recordings will kick off its second US tour with a gig in NYC on February 14th.
Run by DJ and producer Kursk, Innamind has become a household name among fans of dubstep's deeper, more meditative strains. With a roster that includes Gantz, LAS, Thelem and now Quest, the imprint has kept the torch burning for heady sound system music, even while other bass music labels have since defected in the directions of house and techno. LAS and Kursk will hit the road with Quest in February (stream his recent Innamind release below) for seven US dates, with certain artists skipping certain gigs.
It'll kick off in Brooklyn with a February 14th date that includes all three playing alongside Joe Nice, courtesy of local promoters 4th Temple and Low End NYC. After that the crew will head for gigs in Denver, Minnesota, Raleigh and Arcata, California before landing in LA on the 27th, where they'll play the B-Side party at King King Club. They'll wrap it up with a gig in Houston, Texas at a location to be announced.
Tickets for the Brooklyn engagement are available here, while tickets for LA are available here.
