Wolfgang Voigt has announced full details of his latest project, a live album called Wolfgang Voigt Presents Rückverzauberung Live In London.
On March 22nd, 2014, the Kompakt co-founder performed Rückverzauberung at Church Of St John-at-Hackney as part of the venue's St John Sessions series. Likened to the modern classical music he made as Gas in the late '90s, Voigt's live recording will be pressed on 180g vinyl and released as a double-pack via Astral Industries in spring. Those who make the purchase will also be given a download code for the album, which comprises one 60-minute track. Rückverzauberung will be the second release on the London label, following Deepchord's 2014 Lanterns LP.
To help promote the record, Wolfgang Voigt will perform live at Café OTO in London on Friday, February 20th.
