Radere and Paul Fleetwood are among the other acts added to the Boulder festival's next edition.
Taking place at various venues in Boulder, Colorado from April 16th through 19th, Communikey is entering its eighth year. This time, the theme is Inner Space // Outer Space, focused on the "noetic notion that the true final frontier actually rests within ourselves. To this end, the CMKY 2015 festival program fosters a fertile ecosystem for internal reflection via the juxtaposition of organic, fluid electronics and gritty, driven techno," according to the organizers themselves.
The first wave included artists like Charles Cohen, Orphx, Paula Temple and Erika, and the second round of acts brings together techno producer Refracted (who will perform as part of the Silent Season showcase) and a handful Denver-area DJs like Paul Fleetwood (of Humanaut) and Radere. Visual artist Danthon and installation creators Jen Lewin Studio, Audio Pixel and Cacheflowe have also been brought in, with the latter three tapped to create interactive art pieces throughout the festival. There will also be other activities, including workshops, announced in the coming weeks.
