The Vancouver festival will return for the Easter Long weekend, and also features Lee Foss and AC Slater.
The spring Vancouver gathering has been happening for five years now. As usual, it spreads a variety of artists from EDM to more underground sounds across several different venues in the city, including the Pacific Coliseum and a handful of nightclubs.
The main event, now two days long, goes down the Coliseum on April 3rd and 4th, featuring Diplo, Eric Prydz and Cashmere Cat, among others. Among the highlights for the smaller-scale shows spread over the rest of the week are Cyril Hahn, Bonobo, AC Slater (performing as part of a Night Bass takeover at Celebrities on Wednesday) and Hayden James, with a few afterparties featuring secret guests also on the books. Organizers promise the festival will "[broaden] its core focus on electronic music to include interactive technology, art and community outreach," including "interaction with geographically placed beacons across the city" and installations from Hybridity Media.
