The popular Victorian nightspot will be shutting its doors at the end of March.
Over the past three years the basement venue has hosted a variety of band nights and dance gigs, with promoters like Novel, Stable Music and Sound of Thought all regularly partying at the space. It's also where we held our RA Melbourne show back in November 2013 with FunkinEven, Fis and Gardland. As club owner Andy Kavadis explains: "A buy-out arrangement has been negotiated with our newly positioned landlords, who pursue a different concept for the building," leaving The Liberty Social with another four weeks before the doors shut for good.
The club's final run of shows will be revealed in the coming days.
