- Layer Cake and We Jack Techno are teaming up this weekend for a party featuring the Chicago DJ.
- Chicago's Robert Armani is booked for a party at The Fusion Factory in Denver this Friday. The night will be hosted by local crew We Jack Techno along with Kalamazoo-based promoter Layer Cake—it's the latter's first endeavor outside of Michigan. Headlining honors go to Armani, a veteran purveyor of raw acid house and techno long affiliated with the celebrated Dance Mania label. We Jack resident duo Gettoblaster, who've released on Armani's own imprint Traxmen Records, and Just Alexander from Layer Cake, will also play sets, and support at the party—due to run until 6 AM—also includes Jan Van Lier.
