- The UK house producer has announced details of his debut full-length, due out on Crosstown Rebels in June.
Citizenn will release his first album, Human Interface, via Crosstown Rebels on June 29th.
The artist born Laurence Blake first hinted at a full-length for Damian Lazarus' label back in April, when he put out a five-track teaser leading up to the release. Blake says Human Interface's eleven tracks "explore this idea of humanity infusing with technology, which we have become completely dependent upon to survive." He goes on to say, "Each track on the record is based on a particular theme of human emotion or technological/mechanical attribute, and its relation to the world of electronic music."
The new full-length, which follows previous EPs on Waze & Odyssey's Street Tracks and Kerri Chandler's Madtech imprint, features appearances from Aisha and Py on vocals.
