Guy Alexander Brewer has been hitting the states on a regular basis over the last couple years, and he's a fixture at events thrown by the LA record store Mount Analog. He's found some common ground with the American scene, not only with his popular techno project, but also through his more experimental aliases Covered In Sand and Alexander Lewis.
The upcoming journey has him doing a bit of everything. On May 22nd, he'll spin an official Movement opening party at The Works (in Detroit), where he's joined by Paula Temple, dubby Detroiter Luke Hess and Donor. The following evening he'll trot out the Covered In Sand project for a heavy show also featuring Vatican Shadow, Marshstepper and Varg. After a quick trip back to Europe, he'll be back in the states June 4th for a string of live and DJ dates down the West Coast before hooking up with Silent Servant in Phoenix and Prostitutes in Columbus. Brewer will then perform live at Bambi's in Toronto, before spinning at at a couple of warehouse gigs in Montreal and Baltimore. He wraps up the journey in New York, where he'll head up an Avian Night at Home Sweet Home.
