From humble begins in Detroit, Kevin Saunderson quickly became an international leading light with the beginning of his KMS label and the commercial popularity of Inner City (in partnership with Paris Grey) eventually producing 8 top 40 hits in the UK and 4 number ones on the Billboard dance chart.
A busy year for Kevin includes the upcoming release of his second Trust The DJ CD ‘KS 02’, blending house and techno into a long player that “begins large and ends huge”. He is also this year helming the Detroit Electronic Music Festival together with fellow Detroiters Carl Craig, Juan Atkins and Derrick May and on Fri 11th April Kevin will be presented with the Distinguished Achievement Award at this years Detroit Music Awards.
