Mike Dehnert, Roman Lindau and Sascha Rydell have joined together on a 15-track compilation of new material that's scheduled for a September release.
Berlin label Fachwerk will mark its eighth birthday with a compilation, due out September 4th.
Established in 2007, Fachwerk focuses on no-nonsense, DJ-friendly techno that's come mostly from three core artists: founder and owner Mike Dehnert, plus Roman Lindau and Sascha Rydell. Its catalog now holds around 40 releases, the most recent being the Before 8 Years Fachwerk EP from two months ago, and now full details for 8 Years Fachwerk itself have been revealed. To be made available on double-vinyl and digital formats, the 15-track compilation will feature new music from Dehnert, Lindau and Rydell, arranged with interludes that put on display "the banter of daily life running a label"—which should explain titles like "Label Dinner" and "Studio Chaos."
Plans have also been revealed for a series of Fachwerk anniversary label nights across Europe in the coming months, hitting hotspots like Paris, Berlin (for another showcase at Berghain) and Copenhagen (where two separate gigs are confirmed.) Check listings below for more information.
