The all-night, all-ages party is set to take over Tires next weekend.
Cyberluv is an audiovisual crew—which describes itself as "the purple pill" and "a global kinetic postulation"—that was established earlier this year in Shanghai. Its first US event, with projection as a theme, will happen in Detroit at Tires, a former tire shop that reopened back in February as an arts and events space. The party will run from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM with admission open to all ages.
The musical portion of the program includes Annie Hall, the Spanish-born, locally-based techno DJ and producer who's appeared on Semantica and Detroit Underground, and ICECOLDCHRISSY, AKA 100% Silk affiliate Coyote Clean Up, whose set will feature Tin Window & Natty G. Cyberluv founder and resident Englesia will play both early and late sets, and the duo Haute To Death have been recruited to close things out.
