  • Toxic Shock Syndrome will host Bottoms and DUST at Palisades on Saturday, August 8th. Bottoms is a newly formed electro-punk band who describe themselves as "two shitty drag queens, a 303 and a drummer." The three-piece, which includes two members of the now-defunct Brooklyn band Teeth, dropped their debut EP, Goodbye, on JD Samson's Atlas Chair label in January. Joining them on the bill is DUST, the acid and Italo-influenced live act fronted by Bossa Nova Civic Club owner John Barclay, as well as Mr. Frank Jones. The show kicks off at midnight at the no-frills Bushwick venue Palisades. Listen to "My Body" by Bottoms below.
