  • Thursday March 20, Fabric London is to play host to Wrong War. This special event is an awareness fund raiser encouraging the public to show their support against War on Iraq. Cnd, UNKLE and Fabric are presenting the event in support for these foundations. In response to the event James Lavelle said "It's a very simple idea: let's pull together a load of people who believe what is going on is wrong and try to keep the momentum going. There will be a range of different people involved, making anti-war statements in various ways." Already the support has been huge, and the line-up alone shows this with X-Press 2, Dave Clarke, The Scratch Perverts, Tyrant, Tayo and many more showing their full support. The full lineup for the event is as follows...
Wrong War at Fabric: Alan Mcgee's Death Disco, Amalgamation Of Soundz, Ali B, Bill Drummond, Dave Clarke (Punk Set), Desperate Soundsystem, Donald Christie, Fundamental, Howie B, Joe Ransom, Jonathon More (Coldcut), Justin Robertson, Lol Hammond, Mark Thomas, Phil Kieron, Richard Fearless, Ross Allen, Scratch Perverts, Shynola, Swayzak, Tayo And Frank Tope (Rooty), The Light Surgeons, Tyrant Soundsystem, Unkle Sounds Featuring Ian Brown, X-Press 2.
The night will run from 9:00pm till 3:00am and will see the club's three rooms providing sounds across the board with some of the finest UK (and international) artists around. Tickets are £10 and Fabric is (of course) 77a Charterhouse Street, London EC1.
