Mood Hut will release the Gong Bath / Virgo Dub / Peace Arch EP by Slow Riffs soon.
Ian Wyatt usually operates as Local Artist, the alias he's used for EPs on Proibito and Rhythm Section International. He only has one Slow Riffs release to his name so far: 2013's MHC000 cassette, which also landed on Mood Hut. Like that tape, this EP is an ambient affair, with the label indicating the music is meant "for healing use only."
Slow Riffs was also part of No Gold, a group he played in with Jack Jutson and Liam Butler (AKA the Pender Street Steppers). This 12-inch marks Mood Hut's third record this year, following the Steppers' The Glass City / Golden Garden and Starcave from House Of Doors. Jutson also issued an RA-recommended EP Thirstin' via Future Times earlier this month.
