  • Ultra 2003This years Ultra Festival at the Miami Winter Music Conference is to be bigger and better than ever before. With an expected crowd of well over 30,000 this year will again be one of the biggest electronic events the US has ever seen. But there is a problem. Miami Mayor Manny Diaz's is against the promoters, and is fighting to cancel the fifth annual Ultra Music Festival, which is set to go ahead on March 22. If an agreement cannot be made between Diaz and the promoters the quote from the Miami Herald reads: "..lawyers for Ultra say they will be forced to sue the city, especially since promoters have already spent more than $600,000 on the event and have another $1 million in contracts." Hopefully the event will still go ahead as planned at the Bayfront Park in Miami as more and more details are confirmed. The Line-up for the Essential Mix Stage was recently released seeing Sandra Collins, Seb Fontaine, Sander Kleinenberg, Erick Morillo, John Creamer, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Dan, and Ralph Falcon taking to the decks. And with 9 other simply massive arenas for this non-stop 13 hour affair hosting over 100 of the world’s finest artists it would be a shame for not only the crowds but the WMC to have the biggest party over the conference week shutdown.
