Cascine turns five at the Wythe Hotel

- The Cascine five-year anniversary goes down at the Wythe Hotel on Thursday, September 17th. The prolific record label, with headquarters in both New York and London, centers on more experimental strains of electronic pop. RA's own Andrew Ryce offered an enthusiastic review of the four-track Peach Winks EP by Holly Waxwing that dropped via Cascine in June. Their five-year anniversary show at Williamsburg's Wythe Hotel will offer sets from a number of core label artists, including Chad Valley, Lemonade, Yumi Zouma, Korallreven and Cuushe. Attendees can purchase a "limited 5YR pack" with their ticket, which comes with a cassette mixtape assembled by Chris Cantalini, editor of the Gorilla vs. Bear blog, as well as a new 12-inch from Yumi Zouma and a special anniversary t-shirt.
