NVA throws Equinox event with Honey Soundsystem

- NVA will put on an event celebrating the Equinox in Montreal on September 25th. NVA is the musical arm of Never Apart, a local nonprofit that launched a series of events at their headquarters and around Montreal earlier this year. Now they've revealed their biggest project, marking the September equinox—when day and night are of equal duration—to "celebrate equality under one roof through a two-room, all-night event of cutting edge music and installations." The two-room party at Espace Réunion will feature the Honey Soundsystem crew playing a five-hour set in one area, while Ron Morelli and Veronica Vasicka will DJ in the other. They'll be backed up by live sets from DVA Damas, Marie Davidson and locals Paul Trafford & Kara-Lis Coverdale, plus former Montrealer RAMZi. The evening programming goes from 9 PM until 6 AM, but they'll also be hosting daytime events before and after the party at the Never Apart Centre. On Friday afternoon they'll host Q&A sessions with Morelli and Trafford, and then Vasicka and Davidson will sit down on Saturday.
