The Ostgut Ton staple will return to Australia in September.
Nick Höppner will play gigs in Melbourne and Sydney this month.
It's been nearly two years since the Berlin resident played shows in Australia. In the time since then he's released his first album, Folk, which dropped on Ostgut Ton, the label he managed until 2012. A remix package of the LP featuring productions from The Black Madonna and Aardvarck is also on the way.
Höppner's visit will comprise two dates. The first will be a Mahala and Stable Music party at Melbourne's Railway Hotel Brunswick on September 25th. The dozen-strong support bill features Matt Radovich, PWD and Dave Pham. The following night he'll play at the Burdekin Hotel in Sydney, where Something Else and Charades will team up to host Magda Bytnerowicz, Phil Smart and James Taylor (AU).
Tickets to the Sydney show are available here on RA.
