Beau Wanzer and Shawn O'Sullivan's live techno project will play four dates in October and November.
Civil Duty will head out on a West Coast tour beginning in San Francisco on October 30th.
Since we last reported on Beau Wanzer and Shawn O'Sullivan's trip west, the tour has expanded to include an LA date on Halloween as well as a Northwest jaunt. Wanzer, who hails from Chicago, has been self-releasing material from his archives lately, while O'Sullivan has been keeping up with Civil Duty and several other collaborative projects (such as Further Reductions) while building his reputation as a solo producer.
After the SF date, the duo headlines LA's Black Lodge, a fledgling party held at Hyperion Tavern, a former leather bar in the Silver Lake neighborhood. UR affiliated producer Nomadico, who recently launched the Yaxteq label, is also on that bill. The next weekend in Seattle, the duo performs for Motor and Elevator on a lineup which also includes M.E.S.H.. O'Sullivan will also DJ on that one. Civil Duty wraps up the trip on the 7th in Portland.
