Umbrapellis, due out in November, is the follow up to last year's Solarispellis.
The secretive French producer, known for his own eclectic (and occasionally techno-tinged) approach to modern classical and minimalism, first surfaced with 2010's In D LP. Next would come Solarispellis, which dropped last November, and Umbrapellis is scheduled to arrive almost exactly a year after that one. Infiné eschews an easy classification for this latest effort (it's "not an album [or] EP [or] mini album") but as you might have guessed from the names, Umbrapellis is described as an "extension" and "continuation" of Solarispellis—a press release, in connecting the two, ends with this note: "Umbrapellis is the origin of Solarispellis. Umbrapellis is Solarispellis."
The record includes two new, original productions which extend past the 10-minute mark, along with "interludes" based on material from Solarispellis. It'll come on limited-edition vinyl and digital formats.
01. Interlude (1st variation on Section 7)
02. Section 5
03. Interlude (Variation on Section 8)
04. Interlude (Variation on Section 4)
05. Section 6
06. Interlude (2nd variation on Section 7)
Infiné Music will release Umbrapellis on November 20th, 2015.
