The likes of Ben UFO and Aurora Halal will perform at the promoter's anniversary events.
Sonotown will host a series of anniversary events in December and January.
The first party, on December 4th, is taking place at Virgo—the Montparnasse club recently opened by Sonotown and La Rafinerie— with Levon Vincent and DJ Richard headlining. Local support will be provided by La Fête Triste founder Jan Melnick who will play back-to-back with 75021 resident Theorama. On December 18th, the party will go down at La Machine Du Moulin Rouge—another venue operated by the Parisian promoter— with a lineup dedicated to live acts. Performances will come from the likes of Aux 88, Aurora Halal, Minimum Syndicat, plus Vril and Voiski as Vrilski. In January, Sonotown will host a residency from the 14th to the 17th at Gaité lyrique. Though the lineup is still TBC, the event will take place as part of the Paris Musique Club exhibition celebrating Parisian labels and collectives. Finally, on January 30th, Ben UFO and Call Super have been confirmed for the promoter's takeover at Concrete.
Since launching as a webzine in 2008, Sonotown has expanded into the field of event production, making a name for itself with pioneering parties like the 75021 series. These days Sonotown also runs a production company called Rooms and the OOO Communication agency.
