London: Signs And Signifiers collects the work of Nico Hogg.
London: Signs And Signifiers, which bears a usual Keysound LDN catalogue number, is Martin Clark's label's first foray into the world of book publishing. It'll showcase the work of Nico Hogg, a photographer whose images of London have given the label its distinct visual identity over the last ten years. It also features text written by Clark, AKA Blackdown, who says "this is a book about London’s marginal spaces and how they have changed in a decade. A book about one man’s work to document the lost places of greater London," according to FACT. On December 8th, there will be an exhibition for the book at London's Doomed Gallery with some more photography curated by Keysound artist Wen, plus era-specific DJ sets from Terror Danjah, Dusk & Blackdown and Logos.
Keysound are offering up a free chapter from the book here. For more on the label and its ten-year history, check out our recent feature.
