- The young Amsterdam label has announced details for its second release.
Amsterdam label Konstrukt will issue a split EP featuring Cassegrain and Sendai in January.
Initially only a party, Konstrukt has invited techno favorites like Donato Dozzy, Stanislav Tolkachev and Svreca to the Dutch capital over the past few years, with residents Doka and SHLTR often taking to the decks in support. The crew's label arm launched back in July with a three-track EP of atmospheric techno from SHLTR, and for its second release they've recruited two of the scene's more prominent duos, both of whom have been recent guests at the party: Cassegrain, the Prologue-affiliated pairing of Alex Tsiridis and Hüseyin Evirgren, and Sendai, AKA Belgian artists Peter Van Hoesen and Yves De Mey. The two tracks from each duo are described as highlighting the "more noisy aspects of their style."
Konstrukt's home venue had been Studio 80, but with that club set to close soon, their next event—and first of 2016—has them heading back to an old haunt, OT301, on Friday, January 22nd. Headlining honors go to Kangding Ray, who'll play a four-hour DJ set, with SHLTR on warm-up.
