- DJ Spinn, Kahn and Air Max '97 are among those reworking the Warp artist on the new collection.
Kelela is dropping a remix EP on Christmas Day.
The new release rounds up new versions of tracks from the American singer's most recent EP, the RA Recommended Hallucinogen. ("Rewind" from that record also came in at #4 on our top tracks of 2015 list.)
Curated by Kelela herself, Hallucinogen Remixes features two different contributions from Teklife member DJ Spinn, who takes on "A Message" and "The High," the latter in collaboration with Heavee. Air Max '97 and Kahn each have a go at "All The Way Down," and two remixes of "Rewind" round off the EP—one from Ratking-associated producer Sporting Life, and one from Brazilian artist MC Bin Laden. The record will see release via Warp in conjunction with Kelela's own Cherry Coffee imprint.
