- The seasoned selector will swing through Columbus, Ohio later this month.
Columbus's Midwest Fresh has lined up its first party of 2016 for Saturday, January 30th.
As usual, the event will go down at Grey Area with a BYOB (cans-only) policy in effect. Headlining honors will go to yet another Midwest-rooted talent: Gay Marvine, AKA adventurous jock and remixer Chuck Hampton. An underground favorite who cut his teeth DJing in Detroit in the early '90s, Hampton runs two well-regarded edits labels, Secret Mixes Fixes and Bath House Etiquette. (Tracks from the latter imprint were assembled into a digital album last September, appropriately titled It's Bath House Etiquette!.) Midwest Fresh residents Jed James and Brian Kaka will take care of local support.
