Dance music will dominate the Barcelona venue next month, with Luke Slater and DJ Pete also booked.
Razzmatazz's club room, The Loft, will celebrate its 14th anniversary with a month of shows in February.
On a typical night, the vast Barcelona club will have four or five spaces open, catering to fans of rock, pop and electronic music. Next month, though, house, techno and disco will dominate, with more than 30 artists spread across seven dates. To deal with the surplus, Razzmatazz's usually non-electronic rooms—Razzclub, Lolita, Popbar and Rexroom—will help accommodate the acts, while The Loft hosts the bigger draws. The birthday launches with Bugged Out! and Deetron on Friday, February 5th.
The rest of February looks like this: Claptone is locked in for the 6th, followed by sets from Maya Jane Coles (The Loft), Aeroplane (Lolita) and Arthur Baker (Razzclub) on the 12th. Dark Rose Records pair Luke Slater and Miki Craven drop by on the 13th, Pearson Sound, Cosmin TRG, Breakbot and Prosumer play on the 19th, and DJ Pete heads up a 30drop Records showcase on the 20th. The celebrations will draw to a close with a Booka Shade live set on the 26th, before the club's residents, The Loft All Stars, bring it home on the 27th.
