One of America's finest DJs, Christopher Lawrence, whilst on his trip to Australia in order to set up a studio in Melbourne became the cause of an evacuation of the LAX airport.
Federal Authorities found traces of explosives on his record box and they rushed him away whilst the LAX officials called in the Air Transportation Authority, Bomb Squad, Federal Security and the FBI!
Christopher was interrogated by thirty different officials and detained for two hours, before being released and on his thoughts on the experience to RA Christopher said:"Times have changed. Ten years ago I used to get stopped in customs due to suspicions of drugs. Now I am being detained by the FBI and the Bomb Squad for allegedly carrying explosives. It's not easy being a DJ"
"Of course, it was quite unnerving. I kept thinking that my wife, who was waiting for me in Australia, was going to kill me if I missed this flight"
Not the best start for Christopher’s time in Australia, but it can only get better from there.
