  • One for the diary, Agent Mad and The ALSO Foundation will spin winter on its head once again with war paint, feather head-dresses, and fringes for what will be a tribal session like no other. This Queens Birthday long weekend Winterdaze returns with special guest Tom Stephan (Superchumbo) - renowned for his twisted, deep and driving tribal house sets at CRASH in the UK - one of the most influential gay clubs to hit the scene since Trade. Following on from the sucessful Red Raw 2003 party, Winterdaze will be a more intimate, exclusive and most importantly warm party. QBH will be decked out as you've never seen it before especially for Winterdaze, being transformed into an unrecognisable tribal space incorporating open flames, bare back riders, studded and spurred cowboys, exotically choreographed live performances, and much more. The music program for the night will showcase the best of Melbourne and Sydney DJ talent, alongside Tom Stephan. With a reputation reminiscent of Junior Vasquez, Tom's sets recaptures the vibe of New York’s Sound Factory. Expect Trans-Atlantic, twisted house blended with deep tribal and funky beats, taking a journey into the sleazier side of dance music. There will also be an offical after party at Dex nightclub for those with the will to dance all night and day! Winterdaze 2003 takes place on Saturday June 7, at QBH nightclub. Tickets are $55 + booking fee and are available through Ticketmaster 7 and usual outlets. Warm up with some dancing for winter!
