Ge-ology has supplied a 90-minute mix for Altered Soul Experiment's cassette series.
In the mix the American producer, DJ and visual artist runs through funk and boogie selections, in live band and electronic varieties, with a specific focus on building links between disparate genres. Throughout his career, Ge-ology has worked with the likes of Mos Def, De La Soul and Talib Kweli, while more recent years have seen him exploring house via Theo Parrish's Sound Signature label. Altered Soul Experiment is also kicking off a run of events at Berlin club OHM with Volcov, the Italian selector who mixed the first edition of the label's cassette series.
