New York gearhead Phil Moffa has an EP as The Butcha upcoming on Seth Troxler's Play It Say It label.
202 Future will be the tenth release for Play It Say It, which launched back in April 2014. The three-track EP continues the connection between Moffa and Troxler: the former has done some engineering work for the latter, and last year the two teamed up for a record on Hypercolour. (Moffa also collaborated with The Martinez Brothers and Jesse Calosso on Troxler and TMB's Tuskegee Music imprint.) This one, heavy on the Roland MC-202 (as you might imagine), counts as the first full release that Moffa has put out under The Butcha alias. It'll land on vinyl on April 1st before a digital release two weeks later.
