The Berlin house mainstay will play Hot Mass and Acid Camp this weekend.
Nick Höppner will head to the states for two gigs this weekend, charting the unusual path from Pittsburgh to LA.
The Panorama Bar resident released his first solo album, Folk, last year. Since then he's been keeping up a busy schedule of DJ gigs and label business.
The routing of the tour doesn't seem as strange when you consider it takes him to Hot Mass, the Pittsburgh bathhouse after hours that's been a recent favorite of Höppner's close peers Tama Sumo and The Black Madonna. For that gig, on March 4th, he's joined by Midwest FRESH! affiliate Tony Fairchild. The next night's gig, the first evening affair for rising LA party Acid Camp, has Höppner bringing a Pittsburgh DJ along. Hot Mass mainstay Aaron Clark is on support as are Simic, Aaron Davis and Mike Gushansky.
