IMS Ibiza announces first speakers for 2016

- Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and members of the Pet Shop Boys will all participate in the year's edition of the industry conference.
- IMS Ibiza has announced the first 40 speakers for its 2016 edition, running from May 25 through 27th at Hard Rock Hotel. This is the ninth year of the industry conference's flagship event. As usual, there will be three days of panels, keynote interviews, talks and workshops followed by a closing party at Dalt Vila, headlined this year by Dubfire. The SCI+TEC boss is also one of 20 artists due to speak at IMS, alongside the likes of Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Erick Morillo, Tale Of Us, Mr C, Nicole Moudaber, Guy Gerber, Danny Daze, Benjamin Damage, B.Traits and Pet Shop Boys members Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, who will be interviewed by IMS co-founder Pete Tong. 20 industry figures have also been lined up. Highlights include Safehouse Management's Lynn Cosgrave, journalist Jessica Hopper, Space Ibiza owner Pepe Rosello, Twitter personality Austin Gebbia (AKA Dear Morni), CAA agent Maria May and Yann Pissenem, artistic director of Ibiza club and beach hotel Ushuaia. The full programme, including a rundown of satellite parties, will be revealed in the coming weeks.
