Oneohtrix Point Never plots spring North American tour

- Dan Lopatin will continue to support his 2015 album, Garden Of Delete, on the road through March.
- Oneohtrix Point Never has ten US dates on the books, starting with a gig in Minneapolis next Wednesday, March 9th. OPN, the wide-ranging project of Brooklyn resident Dan Lopatin, released Garden Of Delete to general acclaim last year. That record came in at number 12 on RA's album poll, and we said it revealed Lopatin "as a synth auteur as likely to take the piss as he is to set the controls for the heart of the sun." Following Wednesday's gig at the Triple Rock Social Lounge in Minneapolis, OPN appears at Chicago's Levitation Festival, where he's billed alongside Animal Collective and Nicolas Jaar, to name a few. He'll head on to Toronto on March 11th, and then follow that up with a show at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, where he's joined by East Coast experimental veteran Jason Lescalleet. After that he's in his native Massachusetts, moving on to club appearances in Maryland and Brooklyn. At the latter he's joined by arty metal band Liturgy. In April, Lopatin's part of the sprawling Moogfest bill, set to go down at various venues in Durham, North Carolina. He'll also play the second edition of Further Future outside Vegas and the Austin edition of Levitation. Just yesterday, Four Tet posted Lopatin's remix of "Evening Side" to his Soundcloud.
