The DC hotspot will host Detroit Swindle, Daphni and more during their anniversary festivities later this month.
Washington, DC club U Street Music Hall is turning six this month with a trio of parties.
U Hall is one of the District's clued-in venues for house, techno and disco. Already this year, the venue has hosted the likes of Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, DJ Harvey and Honey Soundsystem, while Floating Points, Steffi and Ben Klock count among the bookings in the coming months. Its three-part anniversary celebration starts next Thursday the 17th, when Dutch favorites Detroit Swindle, playing live, top the lineup—club resident Nadastrom and owner Will Eastman will take care of local support.
Friday the 18th has XXYYXX and Jim-E Stack, currently on tour together, swinging through town. Lastly, on Saturday the 19th, the club will give Daphni (AKA Dan Snaith, the mind behind Caribou) full control of the decks with an open-to-close set.
Tickets to U Street Music Hall's events are available on RA.
