- DJ Sotofett also contributes a remix to The Forgetting Curve, out in May.
Yoshinori Hayashi's The Forgetting Curve EP will inaugurate a new label, Jinn Records.
The Tokyo native's debut 12-inch, The End Of The Edge, landed on Going Good last year, scoring high marks with RA reviewer Ray Philp. His next EP will launch Jinn Records, run by Giorgio Bacchin, who also produces for labels like Lobster Theremin and Wicked Bass under the name Raw MT. Bacchin calls The Forgetting Curve a "visually-evocative voyage through ambiguous collages of distorted broken-beat tropes and far-east soundscapes." Sex Tags Mania boss DJ Sotofett offers a 12-minute remix on the B-side, featuring violinist Osaruxo.
There are no previews of the EP yet, though you can check out a mix from Hayashi below, recorded last year.
