- Downgarden, the first full Exos record in over a decade, is due to drop in late April.
Thule, the Reykjavík-based minimal and dub techno label, has revealed plans for its next two releases.
The label was originally running from the late '90s to the early '00s. It returned in 2013, and last year repressed Exos' Q-Box EP. Exos, a key part of the label crew, has been particularly active lately, thanks in part to a connection with Nina Kraviz's ???? label, a reissue of his My Home Is Sonic LP on Delsin and a handful of remixes. He's now returning to Thule with the Downgarden 12-inch, his first full solo release since 2003. It'll hit shops in late April.
Thule will then engage in some more repress action by giving new life to label founder Thor's classic 1998 two-tracker T1 / T2. That one will be remastered and put back on wax in May. Intriguingly, Thor suggested this week that a repress of another of his hard-to-find records, Class of '96, produced by way of the alias Flow.Machine, is also in the works. These moves follow last year's triple-vinyl retrospective Consequences.
For now, tune in to Thor's "T1" below.
