- The rap metal provocateurs are back with 13 new tracks, though a release date hasn't been set yet.
Death Grips have reunited and announced a new album, Bottomless Pit.
The Sacramento-based band, whose music straddles rap, metal and noise, have developed a reputation for being unpredictable. They were notably dropped by Epic Records in 2012 after leaking their own album on YouTube, and are notorious for failing to show up to scheduled gigs. Death Grips broke up in 2014, though the band announced today on Facebook that they'd return with a 13-track album called Bottomless Pit.
The news comes a week after they uploaded a 32-minute music video for some new instrumental tracks, which you can watch below. There's no release date yet for the LP and it's not clear which label, if any, will be releasing it.
