Pioneer DJ has announced an update to its rekordbox software.
The free app now includes MIDI mapping, meaning you can automate parameters within rekordbox with your own MIDI controller. The rekordbox DVS Plus Pack supports low-latency vinyl timecode with "excellent sound quality," and Pioneer DJ will be selling its own control vinyl for €15.99 each. Performance modes include Absolute Mode for your usual analogue vinyl behaviour while Relative Mode gives you access to rekordbox's hot cues and loopers.

Pioneer DJ's rekordbox 4.1 is free of charge, rekordbox DVS is 109 Euro plus VAT for rekorbox dj owners and the Control Vinyl is 15.99 Euro. All products are available now.
