- Luke Vibert's 2004 Rephlex classic gets a new life in April.
Luke Vibert's first album under his Kerrier District alias is getting a remaster on April 29th.
The UK producer's house-oriented alias came back into view last year, when Vibert revived it for an album on Hypercolour (and then followed that up with a remix EP featuring Ricardo Villalobos). Now Hypercolour is dipping back into the archives to revisit the very first Kerrier District album (simply called Kerrier District 1), which came out back in 2004 on Rephlex. The label calls it a classic, and a "kaleidoscopic ride through disco, funk and MPC beats." They're reissuing it as a triple-vinyl package as well as on CD and digital. The Kerrier District 2 EP from 2006 is also included as a bonus disc in the CD package and a download code with the vinyl.
